What do I need to get started?
If you are serious about you/your child enrolling in piano lessons with me book a free consultation now. You will need to fill out the consultation form to complete. Once this form is completed and return the form, I will schedule a new student meet and greet/trial lesson with you. During the meet and greet we will walk through what an online piano lesson looks like with me and what you will need to get started.

How do I register for piano lessons?

Once you’ve had a meet and greet/trial lesson, and it’s been determined that you would like to pursue your piano studies with me, I will send you a registration form to complete and submit.

How much is tuition (cost of piano lessons)?

Tuition (cost of lessons) vary depending on the age/level of the student.

How long are lessons?

Weekly private lessons are offered in-studio, or online by way of Zoom, in 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions depending on the students age/level.

Practice is an important part of the students development. Students are expected to practice daily in the amount of time determined by the teacher and student.

In general, I require my students to practice at least 15 minutes a day (preschoolers) to 30-minutes or one hour a day (older beginners). The quality of your practice is most important.

Do I have to be present for the lesson?

Lessons are offered in studio, or online by way of Zoom. Students must be present for their online lessons unless arrangements are made for pre-recorded lessons.

What time / schedule do you offer lessons?
Lessons are currently offered weekly in the evenings or Saturdays between the hours of 9am – 3pm PST.

Do you have a waiting list?

Yes. I currently have a waiting list. Spots are filled on a first come first serve basis once a time slot becomes available.

What is the right age to start taking piano lessons?

Children can begin taking lessons as early as 3 to 5 years old, if your child is ready.

Do you teach adults?

Yes. I teach adult beginner students.

Do you need a piano at home?

Yes, students will need a well-maintained, tuned acoustic piano, or digital piano with weighted or semi-weighted keys, placed in an area that will allow for uninterrupted practice.

What are your office hours?

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. Teaching hours vary. Please allow 24 hours for me to respond to your messages and/or music questions.

When are registration fees and tuition due?

Registration fees are due at the time of you register for the program or before/at the time of your first lesson. Tuition is due on or before the 1st of each month.

Do you travel?

No, I do not travel at this time. Online lessons, however, are available for all students.
